Today I had the opportunity to take a very nice gentleman out for lunch and a movie-my son. I'm finding that it's harder to spend quality time with Jacob as he is in school all day. We have been planning on going out- just the two of us, for awhile. He wanted to go to Applebees and have lunch and a desert. I was reminded of how much fun he is to spend time with and I'm amazed at how smart he is!

....And I can't leave Lilly out. While we went out, Ryan took Lilly out for ice cream and then to the park to feed the ducks. I think they had just as much fun as we did.

At the children's museum, Lilly only wanted one color to paint her picture...PINK!!!!!!!!!!!

A FUN WEEKEND SO FAR...

We went to a children's carnival. Went fishing for Prizes. Jacob checks out his catch.





How low can you go? Jacob gets down really low. Lilly gave it a good try, but stood up too soon.

At the children's museum, we tried out being someone else. . .

Being a dinosaur just didn't seem to fit.

So we tried the dresses and hats.

That just wasn't what we wanted either.

OH well. Guess I'll just ride a chicken!!!

Some call it a teeter-tot. We say it's a boat and we are bobbing along.

Grandma and Grandpa sent some new outfits for Jake and Lilly today. They were very excited to try them on. Thank you Grandma Gwyn and Grandpa Dean!! They love them!

Bowling For Fruit Roll-ups

Nana came over this afternoon with a bowling set and fruit roll-ups. The kids set up an obstacle course in the kitchen. They had a lot of fun, blue faces and all!
