Child Labor....

I'm sure this qualifies as breaking some sort of child labor laws, but Jacob and Lilly are building us a gazebo. If you can't see us in the picture, it's because we are sitting in the shade with a glass of lemonade.

Just kidding. But the kids have really been helpful. It looks like Jacob is beginning to share some of his daddy's interests. And it has been really nice having help from my parents. Thank you both for helping us put it together.

IT'S GREAT TO BE A KID!!!

We get to have a great time enjoying the warm weather, our swimming pool and getting to play!

Jacob's Graduation speech

Jacob got chosen to give a graduation speech tonight.

Well, we now have a 1st Grader! We took our graduate out for dinner and then we had a little dessert at home to celebrate.

The Attack Of The Drinking Fountain

Not that this needs any comments, but this was really funny. This was one attempt of about ten where Lilly tried to get a drink from that darn drinking fountain.

I always knew Jacob was a knight in shining armor.

This is the new game at the park. One kid goes down the slide and stays at the bottom. The others come down and slam into the one at the bottom. Apparently it is very funny.

Mom, I just wanted to thank you for coming over and helping me with the flowers. They are beautiful, and I really had a lot of fun spending time with you today. Thank you so much. I love you.

Jacob's school play....

My Jonathan, er, Jacob....

Jacob's school put on a play this morning, and Jacob played Jonathan from 1 Samuel 13:15-14:23 . It was very cute.

SLEEPY BABY...

Lilly missed her nap today. And after a busy day of painting the house with peanut butter while mom and I planted flowers, she was exhausted. We tried to wake her up, but she just wasn't having it.
